The Importance of Computer Literacy

Computer technology is fast getting transparent; it has become the part and parcel of everyone's daily life

With computer literacy, we can improve efficiency and productivity along with the workflow as well as enhance the working process within any business office.

There are three types of computer literacy namely:

Information literacy

Examples of these include planning, searching (searching for information, searching the web, Boolean searching and keywords) and evaluation (suitability and reliability of information source and currency of information).

Digital literacy

Digital literacy means having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices. Developing your critical thinking skills.

Procedural literacy

Being literate in computation or acquiring procedural literacy means an awareness of the constraints of specific tools (or programming languages) and being capable of considering a larger space of computational possibilities
